Wyrm Publishing was founded by Neil Clarke in 2007. Neil previously owned and operated Clarkesworld Books, an online speculative fiction bookstore. It was while running the bookstore that he started the World Fantasy and three-time Hugo Award-winning online publication, Clarkesworld Magazine, which now continues as part of Wyrm. Neil is also the editor of Upgraded (2014) and Forever Magazine.

In addition to publishing high quality signed limited editions by authors like Gene Wolfe, Tobias S. Buckell, and Charles Stross, Wyrm also publishes trade paperbacks and hardcovers. Wyrm's trade books will be distributed by Diamond Book Distributors.
